For changing the layout of one bed
Arrange the metal panels into a long, narrow bed or a wider growing space. One kit offers nine layouts with 17-inch walls.
Choose one layout before ordering soil: the nine arrangements use the same set of panels.
For a composite garden bed
Choose a composite bed made with recycled plastic and reclaimed sawdust, held by aluminum corners. Two footprints provide a low, open-bottom growing space.
The bottom is open to the soil below. Choose a ground location with drainage, or use a contained planter for a patio.
For compact modular layouts
Use the same metal panels in six compact layouts. The 15-inch walls create a low raised bed for a smaller garden space.
Choose the arrangement before measuring paths or buying soil. The six shapes are alternative layouts of one kit.
Choose the footprint and growing depth separately
Assemble cedar boards with sliding corner joints. Choose a square or long footprint, then a 10.5- or 17.5-inch planting depth.
Choose both the footprint and depth before ordering. The stated fill capacity is a manufacturer estimate; inside measurements are still needed for your own soil calculation.

For a smaller modular bed
Fit a smaller garden with six panel arrangements, from a narrow rectangle to a compact square, all with 17-inch walls.
Place this open-bottom bed over garden ground. Choose an elevated planter if you need a contained growing space.

For a low cedar bed
Frame an existing garden area with low cedar sides and aluminum corners. Four length choices share a four-foot width.
A four-foot-wide bed needs access from both long sides for easier reaching. Include those paths when choosing the length.
For a longer modular bed
Create a longer growing area with six metal-panel layouts, 15-inch walls and included bracing.
Wider arrangements need access from both long sides. Mark those paths before deciding which layout fits.
For taller bed walls
Choose among six layouts with taller, 32-inch metal walls. Set the growing depth separately to work out your soil order.
Filling all 32 inches takes substantially more material than a shallow fill. Enter your intended depth before buying soil.
For deeper cedar bed walls
Use 14½-inch cedar walls for a deeper raised growing area. Four lengths share the same four-foot width and aluminum corners.
Keep both long sides accessible. A longer bed adds growing space, but it also needs a longer clear path beside it.
For a round garden bed
Make a circular growing area with a 38-inch advertised diameter and 15-inch walls. Five curved panels form one round bed.
Leave a clear route around the rim so you can reach the center from different sides.
For cedar joinery without tools
Assemble cedar boards with wooden pegs, without tools. Choose the footprint and height that suit the space you can reach.
Stacking another level increases the fill volume. Calculate the assembled height you intend to use before ordering soil.

For gardening at standing height
Bring a 12-inch planting space up on legs, with a shelf below for supplies. Compare the footprints and wheeled options before choosing a spot.
Use the 12-inch planting depth for fill calculations. The taller overall stand height includes the legs.
For an elevated wooden planter
Grow in a cedar planter raised on legs, with a slatted floor below the mix. Compare three sizes for the growing space you need.
Use potting mix. This planter excludes ordinary garden soil, topsoil, sand, clay and rocks, so those are not substitutes for the fill.

A cedar planter with storage below
Use a 10-inch planting space above a storage shelf. This SKU 15356 planter measures 48 × 24 inches overall and stands 35 inches tall.
The 35-inch height includes the legs. Choose it for the 10-inch growing depth, and measure the inside before calculating fill.
A cedar growing space raised on legs
Raise a 24 × 48-inch cedar growing space on legs. Compare the two planting depths and overall heights for the position you want to use.
The overall height includes the legs. Use the separately listed planting depth when deciding whether the growing space is deep enough.

For a narrow elevated planter
Add a long growing space where a wide planter would crowd the path. The narrow bed sits on legs with storage below.

A shallow planter for a compact space
Add a shallow growing space and storage shelf in a 46 × 22.7-inch overall footprint. SKU 15355 has 5.25 inches of planting depth.
The shallow planting space is a different choice from the 10-inch-deep shelf planter. Compare the depth required for your planting plan.

For a long elevated planter
Choose a long planter on legs with 12 inches of planting depth. Compare the different footprints and caster options for your garden.
The wheeled and fixed options have different footprints. Choose the version first, then mark its space and access paths.
For a movable fabric container
Choose among seven sizes of flexible fabric containers made from recycled PET and natural fibers. Compare the dimensions and stated liters for each size.
The fabric changes shape when filled. Measure the filled container to estimate your soil order; the size in the product name may not equal its filled capacity.
No beds match those filters. Try a shorter search or choose all styles.
A four-foot bed may fit into a five-foot gap, but that leaves only six inches on either side. Paths and reachable edges make the difference between a bed that fits and a bed you can use comfortably.
