Affiliate disclosure

How this site is funded, in plain terms, and what that funding is not allowed to change.

How this site makes money

The Well Kept Garden is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising programme that pays a commission on qualifying purchases. When you follow one of our Amazon links and buy something, Amazon pays us a small share of that order. You pay the same price either way.

Our Associates tracking identifier is evapool10-20, and it belongs to this site alone. Links that can earn us a commission carry asponsored attribute, and every page with a buying action carries a plain disclosure line beside the first one.

Links to Vego Garden, Gardener's Supply, Epic Gardening, Gronomics, Root Pouch and Rain Bird are, at the time of writing, ordinary links to the maker's own page. We have not joined those programmes, so those links earn us nothing and we deliberately do not mark them as if they did. If that changes, this page changes first.

We run no display advertising, we sell nothing ourselves, and we take no payment for a place in the catalogue or for a mention in a guide. Nobody has ever paid to appear here.

What a commission cannot do here

Nothing on this site is listed, ordered or matched by what it pays. The bed catalogue is grouped by construction, and the bed matcher answers from the dimensions you enter against the manufacturer's documented measurements. The code that filters and orders beds never reads a commission, tracking or affiliate field.

We do not test products. Every dimension, planting depth and stated capacity comes from a manufacturer page or manual with its review date recorded, and where a maker does not publish a measurement the page says so rather than estimating one. Readhow we compare and calculate for the rules in full.

Photographs and source links

Product photographs are served at page load from Amazon's authorised product image API and are separate from any ranking. A source citation is not an affiliate link: links to manufacturer specification pages, assembly manuals and university Extension guidance earn us nothing and exist so you can check our arithmetic.

If something here looks wrong

Tell us. A wrong dimension is a real problem for someone ordering soil by the cubic foot. Use the contact page and name the bed, the measurement and where you saw the correct figure.
