What the comparisons cover
The guide covers raised beds, elevated planters, flexible containers and a small set of watering-kit families sold in the US. We compare dimensions, growing depth, materials, assembly and documented connections. These pages do not report hands-on product tests.
Where the details come from
Each product page links to the product documents used for that model. Advice pages link to the sources supporting their recommendations. A photograph identifies the product pictured; it does not establish which fittings or accessories are included in every bundle.
How fill is calculated
Rectangular fill is inside length × inside width × filled depth. Circular fill is π × radius² × filled depth. Tapered pots use the frustum formula, with the diameter at the fill line reduced when you leave headspace. Inches are converted to cubic feet by dividing cubic inches by 1,728; a cubic yard is 27 cubic feet.
Bag quantities round up to whole bags of the size you enter. A purchasing buffer increases the order quantity, not the physical bed volume. Stated product capacities stay separate from calculated fill because the manufacturer may use different dimensions or fill assumptions.
Layout checks use outside footprints and your chosen path width. Reach is calculated from the sides you mark as accessible. A round bed needs access around its rim for the whole-rim reach check. These are geometric checks, not accessibility certification.
When product details change
The current catalog was checked on September 7, 2026. Product ranges, bundles and delivery options can change. Current prices remain at the retailer; they are not copied into the guide. Product photos supplied through Amazon are removed automatically when their image record expires.
What a result cannot establish
The tools cannot approve a balcony, roof or deck load, diagnose contaminated soil, prescribe a watering schedule or guarantee plant growth. A container’s load rating does not establish the load capacity of the surface beneath it.
An irrigation result applies to the exact kit and inputs shown. A matching nominal tube diameter alone does not prove that another brand’s fitting will seal. Missing operating limits or conflicting fit instructions prevent a complete fit recommendation.
Report a correction
Contact delivery is unavailable during review. When it opens, use the Contact page with the affected model or tool and the relevant public product page or manual. A correction may change the comparison, the available preset or the result of a fit check.
