DripWorks Garden Bed Irrigation Kit

Three sizes of one soaker-dripline kit, stated to water 3, 9 or 18 beds of about 4 × 8 ft, each with a filter and a pressure regulator.

Start with the exact kit

Choose the size by the number of beds. DripWorks states 3 beds of about 4 × 8 ft for the Small kit, 9 for the Medium and 18 for the Large. Each size is sold with or without a timer.

DripWorks gives no maximum inlet pressure. The regulator sets the pressure after it, not the pressure your faucet may supply.

  • A hose-end timer, unless you buy the With Timer version.

Connections that affect your order

The kit starts at a standard outdoor hose faucet: the filter goes on the faucet and the pressure regulator on the filter, then the mainline runs to the beds. Inside each bed, 1/4-inch soaker dripline with emitters every 12 inches waters the plants.

The assembly manual gives 28 feet as the longest single run of dripline; the dripline’s own page gives 34 feet. Plan to the shorter figure. DripWorks says the Large kit already uses about the full flow of a single hose faucet, about 600 gallons per hour.

Include backflow protection required by your water supplier or local authority. A filter removes particles; it does not automatically provide backflow protection.
