  • A 155-mesh filter (DIG model D57A) if your water carries sediment, DIG recommends.
  • A hose-end timer (not included).

Connections that affect your order

The kit connects to a 3/4-inch faucet or a garden hose. The backflow preventer goes on first, then the pressure regulator, then the swivel adapter with its 60-mesh screen. A timer, if you add one, goes after the backflow device.

The dripline carries 66 emitters: 0.52 GPH each at 15 PSI and 0.65 GPH at 25 PSI. DIG gives 28 feet as the longest run and 220 gallons per hour as the maximum recommended flow.

Include backflow protection required by your water supplier or local authority. A filter removes particles; it does not automatically provide backflow protection.
